2. Mitä tietoja käsitellään ja missä
- Profiili- ja terveysvalinnat (allergiat, ruokavaliot, terveysvalinnat, omat lisäykset, perheenjäsenten nimet ja valinnat), skannaushistoria, ostoslista ja kielivalinta tallennetaan ainoastaan laitteesi omaan muistiin. Niitä ei lähetetä meille eikä kenellekään muulle. Emme näe niitä.
- Viivakoodi ja tuotehaut. Kun skannaat viivakoodin tai haet parempaa vaihtoehtoa, sovellus lähettää viivakoodin tai tuoteryhmän tiedot Open Food Facts -palveluun (Open Food Facts, Ranska) tuotetietojen hakemiseksi. Pyyntöön ei liitetä profiiliasi, allergioitasi tai muita henkilötietojasi. Open Food Facts voi teknisistä syistä nähdä laitteesi IP-osoitteen, kuten mikä tahansa verkkopalvelu. Katso Open Food Factsin tietosuojakäytäntö.
- Kamera käytetään vain viivakoodin lukemiseen. Kuvia ei tallenneta eikä lähetetä minnekään.
- Ääneen lukeminen tehdään laitteesi oman puhesynteesin avulla.
- Palaute ja virheilmoitukset. Jos lähetät virheilmoituksen, sovellus avaa oman sähköpostiohjelmasi valmiiksi täytetyllä viestillä. Viesti lähtee vain, jos itse lähetät sen. Tällöin saamme sähköpostiosoitteesi ja viestin sisällön, ja käytämme niitä vain viestiisi vastaamiseen ja sovelluksen korjaamiseen.
3. Mitä emme tee
- Emme kerää analytiikkaa, sijaintitietoja emmekä laitetunnisteita.
- Emme näytä mainoksia emmekä myy tai luovuta tietoja kenellekään.
- Emme käytä terveystietojasi mihinkään, koska ne eivät koskaan poistu laitteeltasi.
4. Käsittelyn peruste ja säilytys
Laitteella olevat tiedot säilyvät, kunnes poistat ne sovelluksesta tai poistat sovelluksen. Sähköpostitse saadut viestit säilytetään niin kauan kuin asian hoitaminen edellyttää, enintään kaksi vuotta. Palautteen käsittelyn peruste on oikeutettu etu (yhteydenottoosi vastaaminen).
5. Oikeutesi
Sinulla on EU:n tietosuoja-asetuksen mukaiset oikeudet: oikeus saada tietää, mitä tietoja meillä on sinusta, oikeus pyytää niiden korjaamista tai poistamista sekä oikeus vastustaa käsittelyä. 6. Lapset
Sovellusta voi käyttää koko perhe. Perheenjäsenten tiedot tallentuvat vain laitteelle, eikä sovellus kerää tietoja lapsista.
7. Tärkeä huomautus
EtikGo auttaa tuoteselosteiden tulkinnassa, mutta tiedot voivat olla puutteellisia tai vanhentuneita. Sovellus ei korvaa pakkausmerkintöjen tarkistamista eikä lääkärin tai ravitsemusterapeutin neuvoja.
8. Muutokset
Jos sovellukseen tulee uusia ominaisuuksia, jotka käsittelevät tietoja toisin (esimerkiksi ainesosaluettelon kuvaaminen ja tekstintunnistus), päivitämme tämän selosteen ennen niiden käyttöönottoa.

2. What data is processed and where
- Profile and health choices (allergies, diets, health choices, custom items, family member names and choices), scan history, shopping list and language are stored only in your device's local storage. They are never sent to us or anyone else. We cannot see them.
- Barcodes and product searches. When you scan a barcode or look for a better option, the app sends the barcode or product category to Open Food Facts (France) to retrieve product data. Your profile, allergies or other personal data are never attached. Like any web service, Open Food Facts may technically see your device's IP address. See the Open Food Facts privacy policy.
- Camera is used only to read barcodes. No images are stored or sent anywhere.
- Read-aloud uses your device's built-in speech synthesis.
- Feedback and error reports. If you report an error, the app opens your own email app with a pre-filled message. It is only sent if you send it. We then receive your email address and message and use them only to reply and to fix the app.
3. What we don't do
- No analytics, location data or device identifiers.
- No ads, and we never sell or share data.
- We never use your health information, because it never leaves your device.
4. Legal basis and retention
Data on your device remains until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Emails we receive are kept as long as needed to handle the matter, at most two years. The legal basis for handling feedback is legitimate interest (replying to you).
5. Your rights
Under the EU GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your data and to object to processing. Contact etikgo.app@outlook.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
6. Children
The whole family can use the app. Family member details are stored only on the device, and the app does not collect data about children.
7. Important note
EtikGo helps you interpret product labels, but data may be incomplete or out of date. The app does not replace checking the packaging or advice from a doctor or dietitian.
8. Changes
If new features process data differently (for example photographing ingredient lists with text recognition), we will update this policy before they are introduced.
